Every heart is thirsty for something.
Some thirst for hope. Others for forgiveness, belonging, purpose, or simply the strength to take one more step. Mercy Wells is a place where ordinary people come carrying those longings and discover that God's mercy runs deeper than they imagined.
Though fictional, Mercy Wells is rooted in the landscapes, small towns, and enduring spirit of New Mexico. Having spent parts of my life there, I carry its wide skies, quiet roads, close-knit communities, and breathtaking sunsets into every story I write.
Many moments in these stories were shaped by experiences I have lived, witnessed, or carried with me. I take creative liberties not to recreate those events exactly, but to preserve the grace, truth, and lessons I gleaned from them.
I write stories of ordinary people, enduring friendships, honest struggles, and hope that does not ignore hardship. They are gentle reminders that God often does His greatest work in the moments we almost overlook.
